Vespa PX200

The Vespa is one of the icons of the scooter world and is still going as strong as ever. Their overall style, shape and ride of the Vespa Px200 has not changed over the years. This good because you can rarely improve upon a classic.
The Vespa PX200 now sports an electric start as well as a convential kick start and has front disc brakes as opposed to a front drum brake. The oil mixes with the fuel automatically. There is not a 'Neutral' gear selection light. However, it now has a low fuel warning light. The only other small thing that annoys me is the hastily choosen medium for the 'PX200' badge on the bike. It should have been cast aluminium, and not a cheap sticker as a true king is worthy of his crown.
The classic 200cc motor is still being used and provides you with the notable ‘Vespa‘ sound that is identifiable throughout the world. Cruses up to of 75 - 85kph are very comfortable. Whilst freeway speeds can be obtained much above 100kph. However this can be quite hard and a challenge.

Vespa PX200

An all-round it is a great scooter with a few small flaws. But, the flaws are so minor and the Vespa PX200 is so good looking that its flaws are forgotten in an instant.
They are a real utility bike in that they do most things reasonably well, but the Vespa PX200, Tops out at about 70 mph. They are mildly tuned and deliver power smoothly and without over stressing the engine. Most people who ride them become enthusiasts - they are just so easy to live with. You can commute and do lightweight touring as well. Tthey are just a great little unpretentious bike.
Good Points
Sturdy steel frame. Capable engine that can be used on freeways. Overall, it is a practical, fun, and cheap to run.
Bad Points
There isn’t really any noticeable flaws during standard operation, however some people have claimed thet first gear is a little short. Also, it is costly.
